Writers Tears Redhead

Launched in 2016 as a core expression in the Writers’ Tears range, this triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskey is matured exclusively in hand-selected ex-Oloroso sherry butts. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Orange peel, dried fruits and sherry plums.

Palate: Nutty Oloroso, spicy raisins and creamy oak.

Finish: A flourish of orange. An unhurried journey.

• Nose: The higher peat content gives a more sweet and smoky character and a beautiful rounded nose.
• Palate: Rich deep vanilla fruit flavours, apricot and pineapple, plump sultana.
